In today’s fast-paced life, the work place provides a concentrated environment where one can unfold one’s dreams – the higher possibilities of one’s life – and also grows through them, in harmony with one’s fellow-workers. Hence it becomes very important for the student who wants to enter a career, to choose a work-environment where he can further develop his capacities and faculties and give form to his deeply held dreams. The student needs help in finding a suitable career.
SAIMC understands this need of the student. Besides equipping the student with the necessary skills in his chosen field, SAIMC also acts as an active facilitator in the placement interaction of industry and students, guided by this vision.
The placement strategy of SAIMC is two pronged. Practicing professionals from industry come regularly to the campus and share their valuable knowledge and experiences. During this process they also explore placement and internship opportunities for students. Students from earlier batches, who have been working in various organisations, work as conduits for placement opportunities in their own network. Besides these, SAIMC facilitates internship for the students as an integral part of the course to get practical experience and training, and a first hand feel of the industry. Often the internships get converted into placement whenever the working relationship during the tenure is mutually satisfying.

- Noted Hindi filmmaker and scriptwriter Anurag Kashyap has agreed to take two students under his wing as assistant directors for his next feature film project.
- Noted actor and filmmaker Rahul Bose has agreed to take one student under his wing as assistant director for his next feature film project.
- Hansa Vision, the production and event division of noted advertising agency R K Swamy BBDO has agreed to place one student in their organization.
