| Direction Semester II |
This semester is aimed at imparting an overall introduction to films, shorts and documentaries. The basic constituents and styles of narratives are extensively discussed and workshops are organized to impart technical skills. Special modules are conducted on how to approach and plan the production. During the course, students from all streams are mixed to create small production teams and are expected to produce projects to practically experiment with the learning. | Semester III (Common Module) |
|
After the learning of two semesters, the third semester is again a time for students from all streams to collaborate together. This semester is dedicated for students to showcase their learning of the subject by making a diploma film. The film can be either a short fiction of not more than 15 minutes or a documentary of more than 60 minutes. These films work as a portfolio for the students which they can showcase for their professional career ahead. |
